What you can change in the GoHighLevel navigation

Four layers: the items themselves (names, order, icons, visibility), the position of the menu, how sub-pages open, and the header strip above every page. Each is set separately, so a top-bar menu can still use a mega panel.

Why it matters in a salon

Fewer clicks between dogs

A groomer with wet hands wants three things from the CRM: today's book, the client's notes and the rebook button. Moving those to the top of the menu, under names your team already uses, takes real seconds off every check-in.

Put Calendars first and call it "Today's grooms"
Hide the funnel and course tools a salon never opens
Group Payments, Invoices and Memberships under one mega panel

Floating quick menu

One tap to the pages you use most

A bubble, dock or rail floats over every GoHighLevel page with your shortcuts. Try the layouts and 8 designs, and drag it by its grip.

Questions pet pros ask

Menu and navigation questions

Renaming, layouts, mega menus and what hiding an item really does.

Can I rename and reorder the GoHighLevel sidebar?

Yes. In the menu builder every item can be renamed, moved, hidden or given a new icon, and you can add custom links and your own groups. The agency view and the sub-account view each keep their own menu.

What is a GoHighLevel mega menu?

It replaces the long list of sub-pages under items such as Sites or Payments with a designed panel. There are 8 styles, including Columns (everything at once), Split (list left, menu right), Cascade (hover an item, menu opens beside).

Can the menu go across the top instead of down the side?

Yes. Every account, including Bath & Brush, can switch between a sidebar and a top-bar layout. The menu builder in Full Groom adds 8 top bar styles, a merged header option, mega menus and the floating quick menu.

What is the floating quick menu?

A small launcher that floats over every page with the links your team uses most. It comes in 3 layouts (bubble + grid, dock bar, side rail) and 8 designs, and people can drag it out of the way.

Will hiding a menu item stop someone reaching that page?

Hiding tidies the menu; it is not a permission system. To stop a user reaching a tool, use GoHighLevel user roles and permissions as well.

Do my sub-accounts all get the same menu?

Every sub-account opened through your white-label domain gets the sub-account menu you design, and the agency view keeps its own. Change it once, save, and each account sees the new menu on its next page load.

Does the menu builder change the header too?

Yes. Pick one of 8 header styles and choose which header buttons show, so the top of every page matches the new menu.

Which account includes the menu builder?

Full Groom ($327 once) and Best in Show. Bath & Brush keeps the sidebar or top-bar layout choice but not mega menus or the floating quick menu.

Give the menu a tidy trim

The menu builder, dashboards, pipeline boards and the contact actions bar all come with Full Groom for $327, once.
